Farm-to-Kroger-to-Table

Robot delivery of food is in the offing. Kroger is partnering with driverless startup Nuro to deliver groceries to you:

Nuro, founded in 2016 by Google engineers, is an autonomous car company built explicitly for the business of transporting goods. That means its cars are slimmer and designed differently than ones meant to carry people. Nuro does not yet have special refrigerated cars, but is working on a new iteration of vehicles with such technology. Kroger and Nuro will begin their partnership this fall.

Noteworthy:
1) Kroger is in the game! It may be a long shot against behemoths like Amazon and Google, but everyone loves an underdog.
2) Robo-vehicle specialization is happening. Customized pods-on-wheels for all purposes are forthcoming.
3) Farm Fresh food is about to take on a whole new meaning.
