Elon Musk steps in it again?

This:

Relax, it’s a parody. But you know it absolutely could have happened.

In reality, the news of the day is that Tesla delivered more sedans than expected and their overall production seems to be coming along strongly.

Possibly in this reality as well, the NYTimes is publishing pictures of giant lots of Teslas, as reported by short sellers. Tesla claims these lots are hubs from where the cars are delivered. This makes sense to me. The produced cars must be delivered en masse to a distribution point, from where they can then proceed to local retail and delivery points.

The Times goes on to probe other possible problems: Is demand softer than it looks? And, Are there quality or parts issues?

Now I’m curious. Given Musk’s nature to push the limit, I would not be surprised to see the company having manufacturing problems.
